The web page www.wildlife.kg gives an overview about the actual vertebrate fauna to Kyrgyzstan, state May, 2010. The present systematic check list is based on a more than ten-year fieldwork as well as intensive search of the available literature. Because no check list can ever be entire, it is open for every kind of information and expects the participation of other enthusiasts. Completely new or complementary observations, which stand firm an evaluation, are immediately trained in the list. For this we are glad about every sending.

Basically we reject every special catch or the homicide of animals to take photos and will not publish pictures, which fall under such a suspicion. An exception is fishes in aquarium, because they are no other possibilities to take a photo.

The sending of observations or photos occurs about the contact - button. Ideally we wish both, however if there are important observations (from species which are not in our list or from very rare species) within Kyrgyzstan, we take up this equally. A little later we make available for every animal group a separate form which can be loaded down and then be filled.

1. The photo must be taken up within Kyrgyzstan.

2. The minimum size should be 1024x768 pixels, the sending of bigger originals without previous treatment is better.

3. Please do not send more than 3 photos in one e-mail.

4. To every photo we need: date, place and author (photographer)

5. With pleasure we accept photos with determination of species – but also without it. In this case we will ask our experts for help.

For the sending of photos we cannot pay any fees, because this page is run in an honorary capacity.
